Thane metro connectivity: Lines 4, 4A, 5 and the Ring Metro
Four metro projects are reshaping Thane: Line 4 from Wadala to Kasarvadavali along Ghodbunder Road, 4A on to Gaimukh, Line 5 to Bhiwandi and Kalyan, and the Thane Ring Metro. Line 4 passes right outside Godrej Downtown Avenue at Manpada.

Line 4 and Ghodbunder Road
Line 4 is the one that changes daily life in Thane West. It runs on a viaduct down the middle of Ghodbunder Road, with stations every kilometre or so, through Kapurbawdi to the Thane station area and on to Mulund, Ghatkopar and Wadala. For Manpada residents that means a direct, traffic-free ride to central Thane and to the Line 1 interchange at Ghatkopar for Andheri.
Why it matters for property
Across Mumbai, homes within walking distance of a metro station have tended to command a premium and rent faster once the line opens. On Ghodbunder Road, where traffic is the main complaint, the effect could be larger. Godrej Downtown Avenue has the metro at its gate. Read the investment case.
